Payment Plans & Financing
High-quality dentistry does not have to be expensive — flexible payment options at Dr. Pantas
Your options for covering the costs
The cost of dental treatment depends on many factors — including your insurance status and your preventive care record. Here is an overview of the most important options.
Statutory health insurance (GKV)
For dental prosthetics, the statutory health insurance pays a fixed subsidy based on your diagnosis. Particularly important: your bonus booklet (Bonusheft) can increase the subsidy considerably. Without a bonus booklet, the insurer covers 60% of the standard treatment; with 5 years of uninterrupted check-ups it is 70%, and with 10 years as much as 75%.
Private health insurance (PKV)
As a private patient, reimbursement depends on your chosen tariff. Depending on your insurance contract, 50 to 100% of the treatment costs are reimbursed. We prepare a detailed cost estimate for you, which you can submit to your insurer in advance.
Supplementary dental insurance
Even as a statutory health insurance patient, you can significantly reduce your out-of-pocket share with supplementary dental insurance. We recommend taking out such a policy early — ideally before any need for treatment arises. We are happy to advise you on which services are typically covered.

Which treatments are suitable for payment plans?
Payment plans are particularly suitable for more extensive treatments involving a higher out-of-pocket share. Here is an overview of our most common services with a financing option:
All prices are guide values for the out-of-pocket share. The actual costs depend on your individual diagnosis and insurance status. We prepare a binding cost plan for you in advance.
Treatment and cost plan — transparency before treatment
Before we begin any major treatment, we prepare a detailed treatment and cost plan (Heil- und Kostenplan, HKP). It lists all planned procedures, the expected costs and the insurer's share.
Detailed cost breakdown
Every planned procedure is listed individually — you see exactly what will be done and what it costs.
Submit to your health insurer in advance
You submit the cost plan to your insurer before treatment begins. This way, you know your out-of-pocket share in advance.
No hidden costs
At Dr. Pantas, you receive transparent advice. Additional costs only arise if you have expressly agreed to them beforehand.
Frequently asked questions about payment plans
Can I pay for my dental treatment in instalments?
Yes, at Dr. Pantas in Düsseldorf we offer you the option of paying for your dental treatment in convenient monthly instalments. We arrange the payment plan individually with you — depending on the scope of treatment and your wishes. Simply ask us about it at your next appointment.
Is 0% financing available?
In many cases, interest-free instalment payment is possible. Whether 0% financing is an option for your treatment depends on the term and the scope of treatment. We discuss the conditions with you transparently and without obligation in a personal consultation.
Which treatments can I finance?
In principle, you can finance all more extensive treatments through a payment plan — for example dental implants, Invisalign teeth straightening, high-quality dental prosthetics, professional teeth whitening or all-ceramic restorations. We find a suitable solution for every case.
Do I have to make a down payment?
Whether a down payment is required depends on the particular treatment and the agreed term. In many cases, financing is also possible without a down payment. We clarify the details individually with you so that you receive the solution that suits you best.
How do I apply for a treatment and cost plan?
We automatically prepare a treatment and cost plan (Heil- und Kostenplan) for you after your examination. You can submit it to your health insurer before treatment begins to find out the fixed subsidy. Your out-of-pocket share is communicated to you transparently in advance — so you know exactly what costs to expect and can plan your financing.
